Regular Health Examinations Regular health examinations are encouraged for all patients as it is important to detect medical problems as early as possible. The care which begins early in a puppy or a kitten's life will pay extra dividends once your companion becomes geriatric. Clients should keep in mind that dogs and cats age about 5 times faster than human's age (an 8 year old dog is the same age as a 40 year old person); therefore, we recommend health examinations twice a year. Emergency Services We handle emergencies as a top priority, and we make sure emergency services are available 24 hours a day. Call our office after hours at 913-381-3272; our answering machine will give you the home phone numbers of the three veterinarians, plus the phone numbers of the two closest emergency clinics. Vaccinations One of the most effective ways of protecting your pet's health is to provide immunization against various common and sometimes deadly diseases. Our policy is to provide the best protection for your pet without over-vaccinating your pet. |
